Dr. Ben Spitzenberger, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Ben is a native of Garland, TX; after graduating from high school he joined the armed forces. He spent 8 years as a Marine where he worked as an aircraft support equipment mechanic. He had the privilege of being a leader in Toys for Tots and the Marine Mud run.
While in the Marine Corp Dr. Ben was trying to determine what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. A friends told him about his chiropractic mantra: “The power that made the body, heals the body” this lined up perfectly with his beliefs and after their discussion, he made up his mind to go through the 3 years of schooling at Parker College of Chiropractic.
While on active duty Dr. Ben went to the Tarrant County Community College and Columbia College, with a focus on pre-med. He learned how the body functioned, and the more he studied, the more his appreciation of God’s creation grew.
During his schooling, Dr. Ben’s mother had been deathly ill for years. This took severe financial, emotional, and spiritual tolls on his family. He immediately took her to meet a Maximized Living Chiropractor that would soon become a mentor and he got her under special care. Because of this man – and God’s innate healing ability that is in every man – Dr. Ben’s mother is still alive today.
In August of 2008 Dr. Ben moved to Austin, TX and opened Greenlawn Family Chiropractic to begin helping patients through the 5 essentials. He is the team chiropractor for Round Rock High School and Vista Ridge High School and has spoken to many groups on the principles of health: Mind, Nerve Supply, Nutrition, Exercise, and Toxicity.
Greenlawn Family Chiropractic’s mission is to help teach the Round Rock and Austin area how to live a maximized life. We shouldn’t trick our bodies into feeling better. We should remove interference so we can live our lives exactly how we see fit.
